In a notable step for effective and environmentally sustainable fumigation practices in Europe, INTRESO Group has announced the successful completion of the first-ever BLUEFUME® treatment in Italy. The operation, carried out over the weekend in Corato (Puglia), signals a growing shift in the pest control industry towards more effective treatment solutions.
The treatment was performed by Radis Srl, a company based in Ravenna, under the joint supervision of Mr Aldo Geli from Ferbi Srl and Mr Jan Vokner of Draslovka. Both experts ensured strict adherence to technical and safety standards throughout the operation.

“This first application of BLUEFUME® in Italy demonstrates its efficiency and versatility as a modern fumigant,” said fumigation specialist Jan Vokner. “The site was well-prepared, and the collaboration with Radis and Ferbi Srl was excellent throughout the process.”
Second fumigation already planned after initial success
The success of the Corato treatment has already prompted plans for a second BLUEFUME® fumigation later this year – an early indication of growing confidence in the product’s performance. “BLUEFUME® proved to be both efficient and reliable under field conditions,” added Aldo Geli. “We’re proud to be part of this pioneering work in Italy and look forward to supporting the next operation.”
