The Detia Degesch Group and INTRESO Group BV have reached an agreement on the terms of sale of Fumico Holding B.V. (Fumico) in the Netherlands and DDD, d.o.o. Koper (DDD) in Slovenia. Under the agreement, Detia Degesch Group will acquire the assets from INTRESO Group BV as part of its continued expansion into international markets.
With this acquisition, the Detia Degesch Group strengthens its leading position in the field of fumigation services at The Netherlands’ major ports of Rotterdam, Amsterdam, and Koper. Both companies complement Detia Degesch Group’s service portfolio with modern, sustainable methods such as CO₂ and heat treatments, thereby expanding its technological capabilities in stored product protection.
For the Organic Division of the Detia Degesch Group, the integration of Fumico and DDD including state-of-the-art CO₂ and heat treatment chambers support the goal of offering sustainable, residue-free solutions for the international market.
Since 2010, Fumico has specialized in pest control services such as gas applications, CO₂ low-pressure procedures, heat treatments and Quarantine Pest Services (QPS). DDD was founded more than 50 years ago, operates at the growing port location of Koper, and is one of the leading providers in the post-harvest sector as well as a distribution partner of the Detia Degesch Group. Both companies contribute extensive expertise and many years of experience and will continue to operate under their established names.
